TREND : ALL EYES ON EARS

Until recently it had been a good few years since I wore earrings. I’ve constantly got cartilage studs but never really wore anything exciting on my lobes.

This being said, probably a year ago I started wearing simple rose gold studs or diamonds and just felt so much more glam and sophisticated when I did. So when we saw the statement earring all across the runway and forecasting boards, I knew I could totally get onboard with this.

Whether its colorful, glistening or an abstract shape – a statement earring is an effortless way to make an outfit a bit more unique and personal to you. My collection is slowly growing – I really only buy pieces that I’m obsessed with so my wardrobe is growing at a slower pace than it once did.

Style Tips: So my perfect outfit for this trend really nails the effortlessy-chic-french girl-meets-gigi-hadid vibe…. An abstract shaped earring, low bun, necktie, undone shirt tucked into boyfriend jeans with a heeled ankle boot – perfection!
